Pork Ribs Soup

The ingredients and the method of cooking of this pork ribs soup is exactly the same as that for the ABC soup. Only difference is the meat itself and also as I think I am also coming down with the sniffles, I added a handful of peppercorns into the soup.

Ingredients

Pork ribs (1 used only about 300g)
2 potatoes
2 tomatoes
2 carrots
1 big onion
10 peppercorns
salt to taste

Method
  1. Put 3000ml of water into a pot to boil
  2. When the water is boiling, add in the ribs, onion and potatoes. Boil for 10 minutes in high heat.
  3. Add in some slightly crushed pepper corns
  4. Turn the heat down and add in the carrots and tomatoes.
  5. Leave it to boil at this heat for about an hour.
  6. Add some salt and a little pepper to taste before serving.

babe: oh yes.. bones do add more flavor to the soup..but i love "pai kut" - spareribs..cooked in any form..oink oink.

supes: don't worry, it cooks equally well with chicken ribs too.. soups are good.. my mum says they are fertilizers for the body :)
